Originally a research chemist, Nagel’s career took a pivotal turn when she joined Firmenich and later transitioned to perfumery under the mentorship of Michel Almairac. Her distinctive path through the fragrance industry includes stints at Créations Aromatiques, Givaudan, and other notable firms, culminating in her role as the in-house perfumer at Hermès since 2016.
