Ilias Ermenidis

Ilias Ermenidis, born in Constantinople and raised in Athens, embodies a rich tapestry of cultural influences and personal passion. His early exposure to fragrances at his father’s factory in Istanbul ignited a lifelong love for perfumery. After studying at Paris’s prestigious ISIPCA, Ermenidis joined Firmenich, where he became its first trainee perfumer from ISIPCA. His career took him from Paris and Geneva to New York, where he has thrived for over 20 years, blending his Mediterranean heritage with a global perspective.

Ermenidis’s creations reflect his dedication and enthusiasm, drawing inspiration from art, opera, and abstract olfactory forms. His renowned works for brands like Gucci, Givenchy, and Vera Wang showcase his ability to infuse fragrances with a sense of wonder and elegance.
