Julien Rasquinet

Julien Rasquinet’s transition from business school to perfumery was sparked by a chance meeting with renowned perfumer Pierre Bourdon, who saw Rasquinet’s latent talent and took him under his wing. With a background in various creative fields—painting, costume design, and theater—Rasquinet brought a unique perspective to perfumery. His initial training with Bourdon, followed by further experience with Christine Nagel, honed his ability to blend art and scent seamlessly. 

Rasquinet’s creations are deeply personal, often inspired by his own memories and encounters with people, places, and cultures. His time in the Middle East profoundly influenced his work, leading him to explore and integrate rich Oriental notes into his compositions. As he embarks on his latest venture with CPL Aromas, Rasquinet continues to innovate by weaving intricate stories into his fragrances, aiming to evoke powerful emotions. His perfumes are not mere scents but immersive narratives that capture the essence of experiences and memories, making each fragrance a unique olfactory journey.
