Mathilde Bijaoui
Mathilde Bijaoui, a distinguished perfumer at MANE, has captivated the fragrance world with her sharp and pure style. Born in Paris, Bijaoui's dual heritage—her father’s vibrant North African culture and her mother’s traditional French upbringing—deeply influenced her creative journey. Her passion for scents was ignited early on through experiences with her father, whose love for cooking and the sensory exploration of market ingredients shaped her keen sense of smell.
Bijaoui's dedication to perfumery took a decisive turn after a transformative visit to the Osmothèque, leading her to study at the prestigious ISIPCA school. Since joining MANE in 2004, she has crafted renowned fragrances like Etat Libre d'Orange’s Tilda Swinton Like This and Jo Malone London's Myrrh & Tonka. Her work reflects a profound understanding of material and emotion, capturing the essence of personal experiences and stories in each scent. Bijaoui’s creations continue to enchant with their rich, evocative qualities and distinctive flair.
