Michel Roudnitska
Michel Roudnitska, son of the legendary perfumer Edmond Roudnitska, was immersed in the world of scent from early childhood. Growing up in his parents' laboratory, he learned the language of fragrance firsthand under his father’s tutelage. Although Michel initially pursued a career in photography and film direction, his profound connection to perfumery drew him back to the craft. In 1997, he established Art & Parfum, a studio dedicated to the art of fragrance creation with an emphasis on aesthetic precision.
Michel's work is characterized by his unique exploration of spices and exotic woods, inspired by his extensive travels. His creations, including Frederic Malle’s *Noir Epices* and Parfums DelRae’s *Bois de Paradis*, showcase his ability to blend artistic vision with olfactory sophistication. Michel's artistry extends beyond fragrance composition to include design and photography, often personally handling these aspects to ensure a cohesive sensory experience. His interdisciplinary approach, combining visual and olfactory arts, has solidified his reputation as a master perfumer with a distinctive and innovative edge.
