Rodrigo Flores-Roux

Rodrigo Flores-Roux, born and raised in Mexico City, pursued his passion for fragrance by studying biology before attending the ISIPCA perfumery school in Versailles at age 20. Starting his career designing scents for shampoos and cosmetics, he broke through with the iconic Clinique Happy fragrance. Now a Senior Perfumer and Vice President of Fragrance Creation at Givaudan, Rodrigo has crafted scents for top brands like Tom Ford, John Varvatos, Dolce & Gabbana, and Estée Lauder.

Rodrigo’s creations are renowned for their complexity, sensuality, and captivating storylines. His Mexican heritage and love for flowers infuse his work with unique inspiration. Notable fragrances include Tom Ford Neroli Portofino, Clinique Happy, and John Varvatos Artisan Pure. Celebrated with numerous FiFi Awards and an induction into the Fragrance Foundation Hall of Fame, Rodrigo's fervor and talent have firmly established him as a leading figure in modern perfumery.
